Beetles Destroy BullfrogsOn Summer St. Patty’s Night at the ballpark, it was the Beetles offense that found a stroke of luck against Green Bay. A nine-run second inning propelled the Beetles to a decisive 13-5 win on Friday night, in front of over 1,400 fans in Alexandria. Robert Dickmann earned his first win of the season; Mark Grbavac took the loss for the Bullfrogs.

Mallards Fly Away With WinThe Beetles were able to erase two early deficits and pick up two early leads, but Madison out-slugged Alexandria on Thursday night, en route to an 11-5 win, splitting the two game series. Madison strung together a four-run sixth inning followed by a three-run seventh to pull away from the Beetles, who fall back to 5-6 and 1.5 games back in the North Division standings.
